GEMS GTR Frequently Asked Questions

• GEMS GTR encompasses both RTO and GTO organizations; do I have to use both functions?

No, GEMS GTR can be used in 3 ways:

· Stand alone RTO

· Stand alone GTO

· Integrated RTO and GTO

• Can I search for information I require in GEMS GTR?

Yes, GEMS GTR provides multiple search criteria for obtaining information with full ‘Drill Down’ capabilities on the search results.

• Can I produce my own reports and / or inquiries within GEMS GTR?

Yes, GEMS GTR has a ‘Crystal Reports’ like feature (only easier!) called ‘Inteli-Grides’, these grides enable you to select the information you wish to see, select the information according to your requirements and sort it into your desired sequence.

Once you have created a ‘view’ of the data you can save that view as a ‘favorite’ for use anytime and you can also print the view using customized Font size and customized totaling on the report.

• Can I obtain KPI information out of GEMS-GTR?

Some standard reports contain KPI information and you can use Inteli-Grides generate KPI’s using the ‘statistics’ function.

• Can contact history be kept in GEMS-GTR?

Yes, GEMS GTR keeps detailed contact history by Field Officer/Employer (by location) / Trainee (apprentice, student), the system also forecasts contacts using a user defined template.

• Does GEMS GTR handle OH&S requirements?

Yes, full function OH&S is built into the system.

• Does GEMS GTR handle work cover requirements?

Yes, full function work cover is built into the system.

• Does GEMS GTR handle Payroll requirements?

Yes, full function Payroll and Time Sheet functions are built into the system.

• Does GEMS GTR handle NAC incentive claims information?

Yes, full forecasting of NAC incentive claims are handled within the system with manual overrides.

• Does GEMS GTR have field officer diary functions?

Yes, diary functions are built into the system with field officer reporting information.

• Does GEMS GTR handle financial / billing requirements?

Yes, billing functions are built into the package with interfaces to accounting packages as required.
